Terms of Trade, Payments, and Managing Transaction Risks

Terms of Trade, Payments, and Managing Transaction Risks

This week, the Module 3 readings covered various terms of trade, payments, and how to manage transaction risks when exporting/importing goods.

Research and discuss a current event (within the last five years) associated with terms of trade, payments, and managing transaction risks.

Helpful Sources

Several sources are available for your research. Visit the Hunt Library to search current articles (published within the last five years) and the Internet to search for current events (within the past two years) on the discussion topic above.

Post and Engage

Early in the module week, make a substantive post of your findings and include a minimum of one peer-reviewed journal to support your analysis and position. Review and respond to at least three of your classmates’ posts for exemplary performance. Each response should be a minimum of 150-250 words. Both quality and quantity of posts (to an extent) promote an active weekly engagement.

Engage and express critical thinking through your responses to promote an interactive learning experience. Each response should be in your own words, grammatically sound, and free of spelling errors.

Refer to the Discussion Guidance and Requirements when posting your replies. Review the evaluation rubric for detailed grading criteria.

  • For exemplary performance, reply substantively to more than two of your classmates.

Course discussions count as 15% of your total grade. Refer to the evaluation rubric for detailed grading criteria. Please read these instructions for information on accessing the discussion rubric.Links to an external site.
