• GENERATIVE AI TOOLS MAY BE USED WITH PRIOR PERMISSION Students are permitted to use advanced automated tools for this formative assessment only for understanding, learning, and research purposes. Assignment Description  

ICT professionals today must understand ethical responsibilities when using planning tools, entrepreneurship practices, and cybersecurity technologies.

This assessment requires students to select ONE scenario from the list below, conduct research, and write a reflective report analyzing ethical, professional, and organizational implications. Students must support arguments using academic literature.

In your journal, you must:

• Demonstrate understanding of management, leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship concepts.

• Critically apply these concepts in the context of the ICT industry and the selected case. • Explore ethical issues and challenges related to your chosen technology or situation. • References:

o Ensure your work is well-cited and adheres to academic standards.

o Use a minimum of 5 reputable sources (peer-reviewed journals, books, etc.).

o Follow the citation style (IEEE).

Case Study Scenarios 

• Scenario 0 – ICT Planning and Digital Calendar Use 

Organizations increasingly use shared digital calendars and productivity tools for scheduling and collaboration. However, misuse of calendar sharing features may expose personal information or organizational strategies. Investigate ethical and professional issues related to digital planning tools.

• Scenario 1 – Entrepreneurship in ICT Start-ups 

Students and professionals are encouraged to develop entrepreneurial skills through short online courses and innovation training. However, lack of ethical leadership or poor business communication may result in failed ventures or unethical practices.
